- promote compact and hybrid vehicles; raise fuel efficiency standards.
Construction Sector
- implement energy-efficiency labeling programs for buildings.
Electric Appliance Sector
- reduce standby power; implement an efficiency labeling program for products; apply minimum energy efficiency standards.
Public Sector
- provide support for energy-saving projects conducted by regional governments.
